  If you can get ethanol, or if E-85 is acceptable, find a cheap carbureted car, drikk out the air bleeds an extra 5 percent larger, nickelplate the bowl, and get a set of jets that are 15 % greater in flow. Retard the ignition to about 3 to 5 degrees BTDC,

  You can run Propane, there are kits available for about 1500 to 2500 dollars that are almost foolproof.

  Or if you really want to turn heads- run wood gas.

  The second link is to a converted Cheverolet pickup truck, so proof nearly any sized vehicle can be run on wood chips..

  Not practical but a cool idea…

  How about a potato powered car?

  Basicaly create a potato battery to run an electric car a short distance…

  I was going to say use HHO, but then I read the rules about no liquid exhaust (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chem-e-car).

  So I still say use HHO, just make the exhaust a closed loop so the exhaust goes back into the HHO fuel supply.

  alternative uses is most effective to fuel crisis. it is controled to it. solar is most important to it.

  Sand, just try and figure out how to incorporate it, use a mass spectrometer to see what is inside it, and see if there is anything that could provide power.

  Experiment with everything, until something works.
